I based my image on inspirations from Avatar, Alice and Wonderland, and the X-files. Science Fiction is a favorite of mine. I took personal inspiration from a photo of my daughter dancing in the grass last summer. All of these pieces combined translated into “Alice in Sci-Fi Land”

I wanted to make a card that was simple and almost childish, this is where the color scheme came from. It felt close to a box of Crayola Crayons. I miss my mom, who has been gone for a couple of years now, this was my jumping off point and the inspiration. It was a design I thought a parent and child could share and enjoy.

The whole family got involved in a parody mashup of Wednesday Addams and Elle Woods. Tuesday Addams doesn't fit in with her creepy family. She's a little more light-hearted than the rest.
Filmed in our local area and taking advantage of some beautiful architecture to make the film feel even more real.

Ron cannot find a gift for Hermione. Hagrid and Harry team up to try and help in the funny stop animation short. Look for silly antics and a cameo from some other friends.

artist statement:
My work centers primarily around storytelling. I have a love for all things nostalgic. My love for photography and all things creative began in a season when I needed a magnifying glass to show me, even on hard days, that life is beautiful. My camera became a tool for me to see the things that were going on around me, and as my skill has grown I have become better able to translate how I saw the world into photographs.
My photography and film work tends to point toward the beautiful and fun parts in the messy middle of life. In my personal projects I tend toward found images and scenes. My intent is to build a portfolio full of stories, mine as well as others.

I am a visual artist based outside of Philadelphia, PA. My work centers primarily around storytelling in photography and film.
I have been self taught mostly. My photography career began at the age of 19 with my 35mm Nikon. It is hard to believe I have had a camera in my hand for almost 24 years. I have had my work featured in a number of photography communities including Lensbaby, Unraveled Academy and Hello Storyteller.
I have returned to school to get my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography at Arizona State University.
